Michael T. O’Callaghan graduated from the University of Southern California in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and was admitted to the California Bar in 1993 upon graduation from Loyola Law School. Mr. O’Callaghan was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of California in 1995 and also the District of Columbia Bar in 1995 after attending Georgetown University Law Center for graduate studies in taxation. He became a member of the New York State Bar in September 2004. Mr. O’Callaghan is an AV rated attorney and was named by Los Angeles Magazine as a "Super Lawyer" in 2006 and 2008.

Mr. O’Callaghan was a Senior Litigation and Tax Consultant with Price Waterhouse & Co. from 1986 through 1990. Mr. O’Callaghan was of counsel at Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley in Los Angeles prior to forming the firm of SABAITIS • O’CALLAGHAN, LLP with Frank T. Sabaitis in April 2000.

Mr. O’Callaghan is the author of “Resolving The Conflicts In Our Lives and In Our Communities,” Loyola Lawyer, Fall 1994 and has participated in various seminars on behalf of the Southern California Association of Defense Counsel. He has spoken in Las Vegas, Nevada about current developments in construction defect law and mold claims and was a featured speaker in November 2005 at the National Business Institutes conference on “Emerging Issues in California Indoor Air Quality and Toxic Mold Litigation”.

Mr. O’Callaghan is presently involved in litigation in various areas of the law, with an emphasis in complex construction defects, commercial, business and real estate litigation. He has substantial experience in bench and jury trials in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Orange Counties as well as San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
