ALEMAN v. LA PUENTE VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT

Sabaitis O'Callaghan LLP would like to congratulate Michael T. O'Callaghan and Bret A. Lunsford on obtaining a Nonsuit in favor of their client, the La Puente Valley County Water District, in a case involving mold personal injury allegations by eight individuals. The Nonsuit was granted following a lengthy hearing on a motion in limine brought by La Puente to preclude Plaintiffs from calling any experts at the time of trial. Judge Peter Meeka in Department O of the Los Angeles Superior Court in Pomona, California, ruled that Plaintiffs had unreasonably failed to designate any expert following the timely demand and subsequent designation of La Puente's experts.
